Graphic design

I work from a studio in my home, using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat (Creative Cloud versions) and Microsoft Office. My system is Mac-based, but I have no problem working with non-Mac file formats.

For print projects, I offer:

• Creative design
• Editing and copywriting
• General typesetting and page-make-up
• Design of graphics, diagrams and maps
• Picture research
• Artwork commissioning
• Budgeting, scheduling and project management
• Print-buying and print-handling

As a freelancer, I’ve built up a good network of contacts with artists, writers, photographers and illustrators who I can call on when needed. Some clients also ask me to handle print on their behalf, and I regularly place work with printers in the UK and abroad.
